Computer Electronics Technology prepares students for initial employment as a computer technician. Computer technicians maintain, troubleshoot, build, and upgrade computers. The course also teaches networking skills including how to install and maintain a network with an emphasis on network certification. Theory and a "hands-on" approach is used to give the students a well-rounded knowledge of computers.

The Computer Systems Technology program is a 1650 hour course and takes approximately 1.5 years to complete. Students receive a state of Florida Adult Certificate of Completion upon graduation.

Students will then either move on to employment in the field or may continue their education at a community college and apply 21 credit hours towards an Associate's degree in Computer Engineering Technology.
